Shoebox Ministry, Inc.* was founded in 1988 with the specific goal of meeting the personal hygiene needs of the homeless and working poor. This is the only agency in the greater Phoenix area that focuses on meeting this very important need. While they are not a shelter, they do distribute our toiletry kits through agencies and shelters that work directly with the homeless and working poor.

*Shoebox Ministry, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit service corporation, located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Desert Streams joins scores of other congregations in collecting personal hygiene items for this ministry. Thank you for your caring and generosity!

Please check back here again next month or see our Ministry Announcements page for updated info. The items being collected change monthly.
